Circulate | Open Doors

by SeaChange Arts

FREE 29 Nov - 29 Nov, Friday, 7PM - 11PM
Details

A quarterly get-together for artists, creatives, community organisers and events folk interested in developing the cultural scene in Great Yarmouth.

Coming up we have a chat with Daniel Brine, Artistic Director and Chief Executive of Norfolk & Norwich Festival about their new programme launch, vision behind their recent rebrand and an overview of their developments behind the 250 year history of NNF.

We also have speakers from Time and Tide Museum of Great Yarmouth Life talking about their Creative Sharing Summit project, Great Yarmouth YAB talking about the upcoming Games Festival and an update from us on the Creative People and Places project.

Get inspired, meet collaborators, share expertise, uncover opportunities, funding and resources… or just socialise and enjoy some great previews of new work as part of our Open Doors community events

Our regular Soap Box news section gives you a chance to share news on events and projects. If you’d like a spot on the Soap Box, email hello@seachangearts.org.uk

Circulate is part of Making Waves Together, a wider partnership project led jointly by Great Yarmouth Borough Council and Waveney District Council, and funded by the national Great Place Scheme, which is seeing communities and organisations in both areas work together to boost the cultural offer and drive cultural re-imagination as a way of supporting success in the seaside towns.   Great Places has been supported by a grant from Arts Council England and the Heritage Lottery Fund.

We will be marking numerous events we produce throughout the year with Open Doors, a signal to share our most inspirational and immense ideas and activities. Whether we open our doors to circus, to street arts, to performance it’s all for you, the community, young and old, old and new, to give and take part.
