What techniques are taught in this class? Drillaz Summer School will introduce you to, and then develop skills in juggling, tumbling, solo and group acrobatics, hula hoop and aerial silks and trapeze.
What skills are developed/improved? Mobility, strength, coordination, fitness and flexibility.
How is a class structured/what do we do in a class? Class begins with 2-3 introductory games to provide a fun warm-up and conditioning exercise, getting bodies warmed and active. Each session is then split into two groups who will work on specific skills, swapping half-way through. These are structured classes with the intention of providing skills progression in a range of circus disciplines.
Why would I come to this class? You might want to become a circus performer or just eager to try out exciting circus activities. Either is fine. Circus improves balance, coordination, confidence, focus and social skills.
What level is this class? Beginner – no experience necessary. Just a willingness to try new things.
What should I wear/bring to the class?  Please wear clothes which are comfortable (sportswear). No footwear is required as barefoot is advised. No jeans or jewellery and long hair tied back. Bring a bottle of water.
