Uncovering Great Yarmouth’s migrant heritage…
A thousand years ago nobody lived on the sandbank which is now Great Yarmouth. Artists Charlotte Dickens and Kevin Hunn embark on a project to uncover how we came to be here.
In the afternoon, parents and children are invited to share stories and join in a clay modelling workshop.
Then, in the evening, everyone is welcome, as Kevin and Charlotte explore a number of migration stories, rounding off the evening with fish & chip supper and international music.
TIME: Clay modelling workshop 3.45-6pm. Migration Stories presentation 6.30pm.International music 7.15-9pm
